Tadej Pogacar is powering towards yet another stage win at the 2024 Giro d'Italia and a thunderous Maglia Rosa victory. Sadly though, some of the fans on the packed-out Monte Grappa are getting a little too close for the Slovenian's comfort.
Just moments after the UAE Team Emirates leader launched yet another brutal attack and accelerated clear of all his pre-race rivals, Pogacar was powering up the climb when a fan grabbed the Maglia Rosa and attempted to push him up. Pogacar, clearly unhappy by this action, let the culprit know exactly what he thought of the stupid action of the supporter.
Sadly this wasn't the only incident on the climb either as Pogacar implored supporters to move a pink smoke flare out his way and another fan made contact a little closer to the top. See the incident for yourself in the video down below!
