VIDEO: Elderly lady almost completely wiped out by breakaway at Rund um Koln

The 106th edition of Rund um Köln is taking place in Germany this afternoon. With an eight-man breakaway up the road, the group were almost brought to disaster with just over 115km to go.

As the break looked to increase the distance themselves and the peloton, the group were forced into evasive action as an elderly lady was in the middle of crossing the road. Although nearly all managed to avoid the woman, the final rider to come through was forced into the lady's trolley, but thankfully all involved managed to escape without injury.
