Giro d'Italia stage winner. Edging out
Michael Matthews and
Jonathan Milan in an incredibly close finale.
It was the Australian, Matthews who opened the sprint early. With Milan in his Maglia Ciclamino roaring up on one side and the
Team DSM sprinter battling on the other side. As all three riders made the push for the line, there was virtually nothing to separate them. After a look at the photo finish, the victory was awarded to the Italian.
