Uno-X has signed a contract with the former world champion Amalie Dideriksen. The Danish rider will race for the team for one season.
"It's really a dream to be part of a Scandinavian team. I can't wait to start the new season and to chase beautiful results," said Dideriksen. She began her career in 2015 and progressed to become a world champion in 2016. She continued to dominate women's cycling and won the 2017 Women's WorldTour classic Ronde van Drenthe in the rainbow jersey.
But the pressure was catching up to maintain her performance, which eventually led to her downfall. She signed with Trek-Segafredo in 2020. She has been trying to reach her former self but has shown no positive result till now. She hopes Uno-X will help her reach new heights in her career.
