Tour de Wallonie 2024 | Jordi Meeus triumphs in crash marred finale to stage 1

The opening stage of the 2024 Tour de Wallonie and with it the first leader's jersey of the race has gone to Jordi Meeus of Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe.
With the peloton all together heading into the final 30km. Despite a few riders trying their luck in the finale, a bunch sprint always looked the most likely outcome and that was how things turned out. In the fight for the line, there was a crash in the final kilometre, but that didn't stop Jordi Meeus who powered to the win ahead of Madis Mihkels.
