The Vuelta a Espana time-trial on stage 10 has seen a complicated day for some riders after the rest day, and one of them was Thymen Arensman who collapsed after the finish line following his effort.
At the time he crossed the finish line, Arensman lost 1:59 minutes on Rémi Cavagna and arrived in 23rd spot, below the expectations for the Dutchman. The reasons are not yet known about the incident, but it is believed the heat and exhaustion must have played a role.
