In his first races in the
Jumbo-Visma jersey,
Thomas Gloag turned in an impressive performance. Italian autumn races saw him finish under the top 20.
"Next year, I want to compete in the final a few times," Gloag told Cyclingmole. He continues, "Everyone had free roles in the Italian races at the end of the season; in other words, it was a great opportunity for me to show myself." He stood out for aggressive attacks, "I don't know yet what type of rider I will become. I'm not thinking about specific results yet either," said Gloag.
As the young Brit enters his first season with Jumbo-Visma, he is very ambitious and very much looking forward to the season ahead. "It will be a year of learning and improving. On the other hand, I would still like to be able to compete in the final a few times," Gloag concluded.
