INEOS Granadiers has made official today the signing of one of the most exciting Spanish cyclists of the moment: Benjamín Noval. The young Asturian rider, just 16 years old, has secured his future and will race with the British team from 2027 onward.
In 2025 he is coming out with overall wins in the Vuelta al Besaya or the GP FWR Baron and has attracted the attention of many pro teams, also due to being the son of a former World Tour rider by the same name. Movistar was one team heavily linked to Noval but INEOS ultimately made the most attractive offer.

"Joining
INEOS Grenadiers is a dream come true for me. This is one of the best cycling teams in the world and I am very happy to be part of their ranks so they can help me develop my qualities to the fullest. I want to thank the team for trusting me and I hope I can repay them in the near future."
Scott Drawer, performance director, INEOS Grenadiers
"Benjamin has all the characteristics of a rider who can become someone very special. He is smart on the bike and highly motivated off the bike, and he has already demonstrated great competitiveness in demanding environments. We are excited to support his transition to the World Tour and look forward to helping him fulfill his potential within our performance system."
John Allert, CEO of INEOS Grenadiers
"At the heart of our team is a belief in long-term development and investing in the next generation of talent. Benjamin represents that future, and we are delighted that he has chosen to grow and develop with us. The foundation we will lay for him heading into 2027 will be designed to support not only his performance, but also his growth as an athlete and as a person."
Funny side that his namesake is fellow Spanish gregario Benjamin Noval somewhat a domestique for Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador days.
