On the 2nd of March the women's peloton sees one of it's most exciting races. We preview Strade Bianche Donne, which delivers every single year, and will provide an opportunity for the very best in the world to show their skills in the gravel sectors of Tuscany.
The 137-kilometer long race sees a meaningful difference when comparing to it's past editions. The race continues to be filled with gravel sectors from start to finish, but then is presented with a final two-lap circuit. This will feature key sectors such as Colle Pinzuto and Le Tolfe which feature both brutal gradients and gravel.
The riders find a very hilly circuit after the gravel roads before reaching the center of Siena once again. Nevertheless, if a group still survives until then, the 16% Via Santa Caterina can create the differences already inside the final kilometer.
