Peter Sagan's time in the professional road peloton has come to an end, meaning so too has his time with
TotalEnergies. A large part of the team's budget some believed the Slovakian did not deliver a good return on investment but TotalEnergies themselves retain a positive outlook.
"The first feeling is that the results, for us, are positive. It's been two rich years alongside Peter,"
TotalEnergies sports director Benoît Genauzeau tells Cyclism'Actu. "The feedback was immense, it was interesting to compare his practice, his approach to cycling. What he does doesn't exist, it's not written in any book, he's a champion, an artist."
