Patrick Lefevere victim of identity theft - "My fake Facebook friend is active again"

Patrick Lefevere, who is not active on Facebook, has been targeted by identity theft, with someone pretending to be the manager of Soudal Quick Step on the platform. The Belgian expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation through an Instagram post.

In an Instagram post characterised by sarcasm, he informed others about the situation and criticised Facebook for not stopping it from happening. “So my fake Facebook friend is active again. I'm not on Facebook, and I don't have a profile, but they refuse to do anything," wrote Lefevere.

He shared the image of the impostor account and warned that he would personally intervene if Facebook does not resolve the situation.“Don't worry, I will find this person. He steals private photos and posts from me. Thank you for allowing this Facebook,” Lefevere concluded.
