Paris-Roubaix U23 cancelled for a third year in a row

The under-23 Paris-Roubaix has been cancelled for the third edition in a row. The race which has last seen Tom Pidcock emerge victorious, aswell as names such as Filippo Ganna and Mike Teunissen in recent years, will now begin to be planned for 2023.

The race was to be cancelled, with a confirmation from the organizers coming recently. This was because of ongoing roadworks, and the lack of the necessary staff in order to keep the roads closed and the race secure from traffic. Paris-Roubaix Espoirs was set to take place in the coming weekend, 15th of May but will not be taking to the road once again in 2022 despite the improvement of the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
