For days we have been reporting that the future of Oier Lazkano could be outside Movistar Team and today we have the strongest sign yet of where that future may lie.
According to reports by Gazzetta dello Sport and the Cycling Podcast, Lazkano looks set to join Red Bull and BORA - hansgrohe, with a move in 2025 seen at the most viable option.
We will see what he ends up deciding. What is clear is that last year he attracted attention in the classics and with his victory in the Spanish Championships and this year winning Jaen and making podium in Kuurne is even more desired cyclist. We also know that Movistar will likely try to make a great effort to retain him.
