The Colombian cyclist's search for a new team has been made more challenging by Movement for Credible Cycling's ban on its member teams from signing him, following his positive test for tramadol during the 2022
Tour de France.

MPCC."The Movement for Credible Cycling has its own rules and the teams that are part of it follow them. However, there are other formations that are not part of the MPCC and these are the options for Quintana. The
UCI also has its own rules and there is no of veto against Quintana. Nairo is a free cyclist, he has not tested positive for doping and has no problem. According to the regulations, he can race and he can do it in any team," concluded Acquadro.
