Movistar Team reveal lineup for Annemiek van Vleuten's penultimate race

Annemiek van Vleuten announced during the last World Championships in Glasgow that she was going to race a couple more races with Movistar Team before retiring from road cycling. Well, that first race of the 2 that she will race starts this Wednesday, August 23 and it is the Tour of Scandinavia.
The Nordic race, which will feature medium mountain stages and a time trial, will finish on Sunday 27th and the Telefonica team has announced the team that will accompany the Dutch legend in his penultimate race.
And it is a team of guarantees that includes the stage winners of the last Tour de France Women Emma Norsgaard and Liane Lippert, the very fast Cuban Arlenis Sierra and that closes Katrine Aalerud and Sarah Gigante. As it could not be otherwise, van Vleuten will compete to try to take another stage race to her already incredible palmarès.

Any athlete treating this remotely like an amateur sport (in terms of weight training, nutrition, lack of altitude camps, and so on) will not succeed. - MSR no competition? From the Cipressa onward, that was the most amazing MSR finish I've ever watched! Same with Paris-Roubaix, which together with Flanders had the racing start much, much earlier than before. - He and Pogacar both have taken insane risks on descents, particularly in time trials. I have to imagine most cycling fans would be happy to see them back off a bit.
