Movistar adds Floortje Mackaij to the women's peloton - " I’m so excited to start the new season with the Movistar Team,"

Floortje Mackaij has signed a two-year contract with the Movistar team. Her main focus will be providing support to the team leader. She will ride for the team till 2024.
“I am really looking forward to joining the Movistar Team in 2023. I’ve got the feeling that I’m more than ready for a big change,” expressed Mackaij. She has been part of Team DSM since 2012 but now she is finally ready to accept and continue her journey. “After a decade with Team DSM and its previous iterations, it’s time for something new.”
She continues, “As a rider, I know I still can improve a lot, and want to focus more and more on the classics, hilly stage races, and time trials. Another fun fact for me about this new adventure will be staying teammates with Liane, which is so great. I’m so excited to start the new season with the Movistar Team,” concluded Mackaij.
