It is not clear whether this hypothesis would be a real sponsorship, which would also risk leading to problems given the already existing presence of the brand in the group alongside Bora - hansgrohe (given that the Austrian company is not only a sponsor, but also the owner of the German team), or another type of agreement, but it would be a very weighty candidacy.
Fabian Cancellara's team, which has already spent a lot of money on the transfer market this session, would thus further strengthen itself, probably becoming the strongest and most sought-after team in the second division, with a large and complete roster that could obtain many invitations, practically everywhere.
This last bit puts a bit more perspective into this suggested transfer. While Tudor certainly isn't working on a tight budget, the Swiss team also needs to attract the big names to the sporting side. Persistent rumours from last week suggested Pidcock's
move to Q36.5 Pro Cycling was on the table, but with the other Swiss PRT team having much lesser reputation on the competitive end, it can be seen as to why would Pidcock choose Tudor over Doug Ryder's formation.
