The newspaper Marca has released a list of the highest paid Spanish sportsmen and, among the top 100, there is no cyclist in a list absolutely dominated by soccer, although the first place is occupied by golfer John Rahm. Among the cyclists,
Mikel Landa is the highest paid of all with a contract of 2 million euros in Bahrain Victorious (we do not know what will be his cache next season in Soudal Quick-Step).
Behind Mikel, according to Marca, three cyclists from three different teams would be paid the same amount: Marc Soler (UAE Team Emirates), Pello Bilbao (Bahrain Victorious) and Enric Mas (Movistar Team) would be paid 1.2 million euros each.
