Mikel Landa has made no excuses. His Tour de France was a big disappointment. He couldn't fight with the best overall and couldn't fight with the men in the breakaways to try to win a stage. He returns home empty and can only positively highlight the great performance of his team, Bahrain - Victorious.
"I came with that fear, that things wouldn't go well for me and for many reasons it didn't go well. I've learned to take it easy, I've tried in a breakaway and I haven't had days, I'm happy that the team has been good, we've won 3 stages and Pello has finished on top, that's positive."

About his future, he is clear that now he will race San Sebastian and then he doesn't know if he will race the Vuelta a España. Nor in which team he will race in 2024:
"I left everything parked before the Tour, to focus, it hasn't worked out and now I'll have to assess or move and look for other motivations. First go home, I'll ride the San Sebastian classic at home and then the team wants me to be there, but we'll see."
