After both
Mikel Landa and
Remco Evenepoel were affected by crashes in the Itzulia Basque Country that also claimed the injury of Jonas Vingegaard and Primoz Roglic among others, the
Soudal - Quick-Step duo are back training together in preparation for the 2024
Tour de France 2024.
As reported by
AS, Landa and Evenepoel have been in a team training camp in the Sierra Nevada for more than two weeks. The intention has been clear since the beginning of the season, despite the setbacks in the Basque Country that resulted in two broken ribs and a broken collarbone for Landa, and also a broken collarbone and some ribs for Evenepoel: to compete in the Tour for the Maillot Jaune against the likes of Tadej Pogacar, Primoz Roglic and Vingegaard, if the Dane is recovered in time.
