The 19th stage was one where the sprinters were meant to have their way, and although Christophe Laporte fits into that category, the outcome for the fast men was spoiled after the Jumbo-Visma rider jumped away from the peloton just outside the final kilometer and
took a dominant solo win in Cahors.
A calmer day in the peloton despite the wind, the day's medical report didn't feature any rider.
