The investigation on Mark Cavendish's home burglary case has taken another step forward.
On the 27th of November the British sprinter's house was broken in by a group of men with the intention of committing a robery, which ended up as a consequence of the incident. It happened at his home in Ongar, Essex, and has put his family "extremely distressed".
The incident happened after Cavendish was at home recovering from his injuries from a crash at the Ghent Six Day track race where he was leading, which caused him to have two broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
The court appearance confirmed the name of the aggressor, Romario Henry, but nothing more as the man was taken back into custody.
