Jury & Fines. The second stage of the Tour de France was a tricky one as the GC race kicked off once again, and saw a dramatic finale which saw Victor Lafay surprise the reduced peloton to take a spectacular win.
The jury took the following decisions on stage 2:
Mattias Skjelmose (Trek - Segafredo) - Relegation (placed in last spot of his group). Deviation from line during sprint. 500CHF fine and 13 UCI points removed.
Alberto Bettiol (EF Education-EasyPost) - Relegation (placed in last spot of his group). Deviation from line during sprint. 500CHF fine and 13 UCI points removed.
