Joy for Van Hooydonck after a nightmare week as he and partner celebrate birth of their child Alessio

After all the sad news surrounding Nathan Van Hooydonck over the last week, there finally is some happiness as the Belgian and his partner announce the birth of their child Alessio.

Having suffered a cardiac arrest at the wheel of his car and spending time in a medically induced coma after being resuscitated at the scene, thankfully Van Hooydonck is on the road to recovery. His professional career is now over however as he's been fitted with an ICD.
