Jeroen Blijlevens will get behind the steering wheel of a team leader's car again next year. The 51-year-old former rider will then start working as a team leader at the American cycling formation
Lidl-Trek. Blijlevens previously worked as a team leader at Rabo-Liv and successors.
Blijlevens has not been active as a team leader in recent years, after he had to leave Liv-Racing at the end of 2020 - after nine years of employment. However, he will return to the cycling world in 2024, as team leader at Lidl-Trek. "Since Trek launched the women's team in 2019, I have always seen the team as very professional. Where they always raced together and with a plan," Blijlevens said in a press release.
