The
Tour de France is known to be perhaps the most popular cycling event, and today the Danish crowds have put yet more meaning to that as thousands of people stood to watch the peloton pass in the outskirts of Roskilde for an impressive human frame over many kilometers.
In a video shared by the Tour de France's social media team one example has been given, as the crowds build up endlessly through the fields. The second stage of the race will see the riders travel from Roskilde to Nyborg over 202 kilometers, which include the long and exposed Great Belt Bridge towards the end of the day which should provide a thrilling finale to the day.
