Florian Senechal had to face defeat once again as
Matteo Trentin took the victory with a surprise attack in the second stage of the
Tour de Luxembourg.
“I’m disappointed because I am quite sure I could have won if not for that attack that I had to close,” said Senechal. His disappointment is justified seeing it was a sure victory for him till the final 100 meters. But everything changed in the last few seconds when
Matteo Trentin pushed his pedals hard and took the sprint ahead of Senechal.
