Filippo Ganna revalidates Italian time-trial national title

For the fourth time in his career Filippo Ganna has won the Italian national championships in the time-trial discipline, facing tough competition but setting himself up for another year in the national colours.

Ganna beat Mattia Cattaneo and Matteo Sobrero on the 25.7-kilometer route in Sarche, it was a hilly time-trial and the first half saw both Cattaneo and Sobrero put in storming rides but in the end the INEOS Grenadiers was the fastest to take home the expected win.
