Filippo Ganna and Michal Kwiatkowski given green light after crashing out of Gent-Wevelgem

Gent - Wevelgem was a race that saw terrible weather and many riders suffer. However the conditions also led to several crashes and INEOS Grenadiers were badly affected. However, both Filippo Ganna and Michal Kwiatkowski have not suffered fractures as a result of their respective incidents.

Ganna started the day as an outsider, but a tumble early in the day saw him abandon. Michal Kwiatkowski followed similar path as he hit the deck with 124 kilometers. Initial footage saw him on the ground as the worst affected out of that one, but luckily for the British team major injuries were avoided, bruises and abrasions were the outcome.

The British team had a tough day out but saw Jhonatan Narváez active towards the end. The puncheur finished 13th on the day as INEOS' best placed rider.
