Neilson Powless will also be there, after a season marked by injuries and illnesses that ruined his spring. After a good performance in the Critérium Dauphiné, Powless is back in the Tour and it wouldn't be surprising to see him behind the mountains jersey. Ben Healy, meanwhile, is one of the most eagerly awaited debuts in the Tour de France. The Irish rider put on a show in the Tour of Slovenia on the last stage and has shown on several occasions that he doesn't like boring races. In 2023, he was in the spotlight in the Ardennes classics and has already won a stage in the Tour of Italy, so he could well be one of the highlights of the Tour.
The American team is also betting on the sprints with
Marijn van den Berg. The Dutchman made the top 10 in the Dutch championship and this year won a stage in the Volta a Catalunya and dominated the Région Pays de la Loire Tour.
Alberto Bettiol can help prepare the sprints and be a good bet for hilly stages and the gravel day. He won the Italian championship on Sunday.
Rui Costa also won the Portuguese race on Sunday and will be showing off his new colours in the race.
Sean Quinn and
Stefan Bissegger complete a line-up that has all the conditions to win more than one stage in this Tour de France.
