Daniel Martínez wins Colombian national time-trial championships

It's the second win of the day for INEOS Grenadiers. After Filippo Ganna won the prologue of the Tour de la Provence, over in South America Daniel Martínez won the Colombian national time-trial championships.

Martínez was the fastest rider over the 38.7 kilometer long route in the city of Pereira. A time of 43:27 was enough to take the title, with Esteban Chaves finishing a close second only 12 seconds behind whilst EF Education - Easypost's Diego Camargo finished third 41 seconds behind.

Lina Marcela Hernández won the women's title, in the men's under-23 race it was Juan Barbosa who took the win, and finally in the women's under-23 field the fastest was Mariana Herrera.
