Bob Jungels describes racing alongside Primoz Roglic: "It is a privilege to work for him. A great honor"

Bob Jungels is a former winner of Liège-Bastogne-Liège and a Tour de France stage, but even someone with so much experience can still be impressed by Primoz Roglic. The Slovenian had a worse day on Plateau des Glières, but still managed to hang on to his overall lead by 8 seconds.

"It is a privilege to work for him. A great honor. On and off the bike he is a super nice guy. I was very happy that he joined us," are Jungels' words as captured by WielerRevue.

The Luxembourger has known Roglic for some time from the peloton. "We chatted during the race and appreciated each other. Today it was not really the intention to ride for the win. But the other teams challenged us and then you see that the collective strength of BORA - hansgrohe was the key to a new success."

"The fact that Vlasov selflessly sacrifices himself for Primoz says a lot. They really have a good relationship. Aleksandr, Jai Hindley and Matteo Sobrero are super strong guys. We try to support them where we can. Ultimately, we just have to keep Primoz at the front. He will do the rest himself."
