Biniam Girmay the sole leader for Intermarché-Circus-Wanty's Milano-Sanremo team

Biniam Girmay will be back in action this weekend as he targets what is one of his main goals of the season and the monument that is best suited to his attributes: Milano-Sanremo.
Intermarché-Circus-Wanty have revealed their lineup for La Primavera which includes the Eritrean as team leader. Girmay finished 12th last year, in anticipation for a very successful spring where he'd go on to win Gent-Wevelgem and a stage at the Giro d'Italia. He's been building form in Italy over the last few weeks and will be an outsider for the first monument of the season.

Lorenzo Rota, Sven Erik Bystrom and Mike Teunissen provide second cards for the Belgian team in case Girmay isn't on his best legs and give it quite a lot of depth. Local Niccolò Bonifazio, Loic Vliegen and Aimé de Gendt conclude the lineup.
