- I see a surprise from Romeo.
- So much to unpack, he doesn't like Pogacar so he is dumb and is maga. I bet since is son of Columbia immigrants and speaks a few languages he is anything... This isn't an attack but perhaps a digital detox.
- It's races like these which define why they hired Cosnefroy. Let's see how he does!
- In 4 races this year, Pogačar has won 3 and been second in the other one. His lifetime win rate (with grand tours included) is 28% of his races (did some math with procyclingstats). It's not that people are beginning to beat him, folks, it's that beating him is so rare (at times) that people show surprise. He lost Amstel last year. He lost to Narvaez at the Giro (and his response was even more forceful domination). He has always lost close races here or there. There's nothing new here, is there?
I would love to see Seixas and Evenepoel reach the level of van der Poel in terms of competition, but I have a selfish reason for it. Pogačar losing means he hangs around to win again, the next time. I don't want the guy getting bored!
- Dati is a decent puncheur - he outsprinted Mauro Schmid in Coppi e Bartali. But a Pidcock on form would've won that so I don't think he's back to torm
- Hincapie is one of the stupidest former American cyclists ever. His hatred towards Pogi is tremendous. If we go back to 2024, when Pogi won the Giro-Tour and WC (making cycling history), he hated him so much, he didn't want to talk about him. He's probably a maga Trump voter.
- No, they are not favourites, they are all outsiders. who will be fighting for second and third place, considering Vinni 🐟doesn't crash or becomes ill.
- Seixas was certainly impressive at Itzulia, but he had practically no competition other than Lipowitz on one stage. Ayuso and Del Toro were well below their best, even before both crashed out. In fact, it would have been more interesting if Seixas had raced Catalunya instead of Itzulia, where he would have been pitted against Vingegaard.
- They just want to hype the challenge when there is no challenge. Pogi will wipe the floor with Sexias and Remco.
- The French amoebas are once again saying that they are suspicious of Pogi's level of dominance ( he might be doping), but they are not suspicious that 19-year-old Seixass, in a one-week world tour race, makes all cyclists look like amateurs. It is not suspicious to them because his name is Paul. If his name was Pavle (Paul in the Balkans), then would it be suspicious???
If Pogi was French or Belgian, he would become the president of France or Belgium after his cycling career. Capish?
