Ireland will have two cards to play at upcoming World Championships in Glasgow. While Sam Bennett will be hoping for a bunch sprint, Ben Healy will be looking for opportunity to ignite the race early on and join long-range moves.
Both riders had enough time to prepare for the rainbow race as Healy only turned up to Irish Championships after very successful spring and Giro d'Italia. On the other hand Sam Bennett had to deal with huge upset of not being selected by his team Bora-hansgrohe to ride Tour de France.

Healy and Bennett will have to rely a lot on Mullen and Townsend to set them up into the final, while rest of the lineup is filled with less known amateur and ex-ct riders.

Ben Healy (also ITT), Sam Bennett, Ryan Mullen (also ITT), Dillon Corkery, Ryan Townsend and Cormac McGeough
