Ashleigh Moolman decides against retirement seeing Tour de France Femmes success -"We have the momentum now. It just feels stupid after being such a big part of the fight."

Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio has decided to postpone her retirement for now. It was speculated she would take a back seat and retire, but her performance in Tour de France Femmes has changed her perspective.

She will join the Dutch team AG Insurance-NXTG. It has been confirmed that she has signed a one-year contract with the team. When asked what made her rethink retirement, she said it was the success of Tour de France Femmes. "We have the momentum now. It just feels stupid after being such a big part of the fight. That almost makes it worth it to add another year. It's mainly the Tour that's causing the doubts," said Moolman.
