I don't think Pogacar feels the same way after MSR and P-R. Thank god Pogacar exists and is keeping Evenepoel from the top step. I'd gladly have boredom than preening narcissism and melodrama.06-10-2025 16:25

By this logic, Israel Premiertech has gotten a lot of ROI on shots of Froome getting shelled on climbs.06-10-2025 16:22

Vingegaard finished a stage of the Vuelta on a teammate's bike -- maybe RE is lacking balls to race.28-09-2025 21:58

If the second bike wasn't a problem, why should we believe the first really was? For those watching RE over the years, it seems that his biggest weakness are the screws in his head. The Belgian media have given him an overinflated sense of his superiority, and when reality makes an appearance, he crumbles.28-09-2025 19:34

The Tour organizers are whistling in the dark if they think Spain is the problem. Rabid fans have long turned GT summits into disgusting spectacles that barely leave room for riders; the Vuelta has only shown how easy it is for protesters to shut down summits and stages completely.15-09-2025 01:22

I've been unsurprised by the lack of outrage at what happened in the Vuelta. When top riders are sporting 300,000 euro watches, you know the sport has become gentrified, and along with the gentrification is the curse of group think in polite circles, and an aversion to calling a spade a spade. Today it's the Vuelta and Gaza; tomorrow, the Tour and Extinction Rebellion, or whatever flavor-of-the-month group that sees how much attention is easily obtained at such little cost. Applause to Kwiatkowski for stating the obvious.15-09-2025 01:09

Spain doesn't seem to be paying attention to how these protests are viewed by regular people. Garcia may think pressure to make IPT leave is the safe stance at the moment, but he and the Left in Spain will find out the hard way that the blowback will suck. Caving now will reward extremists and make stage cancellations more frequent.04-09-2025 14:42

You could see Philipsen shouting “go right!” in the slo-mo but I guess the banging on the barricades was too loud. Still, it should be a no-brainer that if you’re leading out on the left side of the road, you drop off to the right when you’re done pulling.27-08-2025 01:53

But if he doesn't race the World's, how will the world know he loves his wife if they can't see him kissing his wedding ring and blowing kisses?26-08-2025 15:59
