Horner has the spittle-flecked ankle-biting take covered. For former Vuelta winners with substantial palmares and an indoor voice, I'll keep listening to Sean Kelly.26-01-2026 17:01

"Failing to respect the instructions of the organizer or commissaires" Most of the infractions are self-explanatory, but some details for this one would be appreciated.24-01-2026 15:45

There is something deeply stupid about the way race commentators get agitated when Pogacar is "isolated" on steep climbs. But I can understand how Visma gets sucked into cracking their own rider: they have to believe their guy is just a little stronger than Pogacar, and that putting them both at their limit will allow the 1% difference to emerge in their favor.17-01-2026 16:32

Let's hope this doesn't end up like UAE's del Toro/Ayuso tactics in the Giro.16-01-2026 16:08

Perhaps the problem isn't Pogacar's tactics so much as MSR being a monument in the first place. It's a ridiculously long race where nothing happens till less than 30km to go, and the final two climbs aren't selective enough. "Tactics" is an armchair racer's pastime; in the real world, VDP was too strong for TP for the given course, and no amount of "tactics" was going to change that.02-01-2026 16:31

I don't think Pogacar feels the same way after MSR and P-R. Thank god Pogacar exists and is keeping Evenepoel from the top step. I'd gladly have boredom than preening narcissism and melodrama.06-10-2025 16:25

By this logic, Israel Premiertech has gotten a lot of ROI on shots of Froome getting shelled on climbs.06-10-2025 16:22

Vingegaard finished a stage of the Vuelta on a teammate's bike -- maybe RE is lacking balls to race.28-09-2025 21:58

If the second bike wasn't a problem, why should we believe the first really was? For those watching RE over the years, it seems that his biggest weakness are the screws in his head. The Belgian media have given him an overinflated sense of his superiority, and when reality makes an appearance, he crumbles.28-09-2025 19:34
