"All there is to do is recover and then start training" - Audrey Cordon-Ragot fully recovered from stroke

Audrey Cordon-Ragot is set to join the upcoming B&B Hotels-KTM women's team next season, however as the team faces issues and delays in it's presentation, tension builds up. The double French champion is however happy to continue her career following the stroke she suffered this summer.

"Not everyone is so lucky. Most people are left in the dark, no one takes care of them, and thousands die. I find that terrible," the French rider said in a recent interview. After suffering from several symptoms, at the request of the French federation she was tested before the World Championships, and it was discovered that she had suffered a stroke.

After possibly having her life saved due to the early diagnosis, she is even more keen in supporting the victims of this health complication. "I want people to know they're not alone, that it can happen to anyone. If my example can help people, I will have won the lot," she added.

Only a month after, she has recovered and is looking forward to the next step in her career, which has not been cut short by this stroke. "I feel really good now. Science is incredible. All there is to do is recover and then start training. I can't wait," Cordon-Ragot concluded.
