Prize Money. Omloop Het Nieuwsblad is the first cobbled classic of the season and the first out of the 'Opening Weekend'. A race with great historic significance, until today it continues to signal the start of the spring classics campaign.
The prize money in total for the race will be a total of €40.000. This will be split between the first 20 riders crossing the line; taking into consideration that the winner will win €16.000.
