Lots of what if should have could have . The end result would have been the same .Pog would have dropped all other riders on the climbs. Paris Roubaix will be another kettle of fish . No climbs and MVDP is far superior cobbles rider.

Decathlon need to offer Seixas a lifetime deal. The top riders are paid peanuts compared to other global sports and a business the size of Decathlon would barely notice the cost.

It's Pogačar, not Pogacar.

A lot of retrofitting of hypotheses to the data going on in Horner's account. The five top guys were all racing to win and only found out they couldn't hold on to Pogacar when they were dropped. Did anyone offer a scenario in advance in which Pogacar gets beaten via the tactic of letting him ride away into the wind and slowly reeling him in through an organised chase?

If Sexias were not there , It would have been a sprint between 8-10 riders on a mountain. This is why Pogi dominance is ok, worst is a sprint on a mountain

Horner is always really angry when Pogacar wins. He actually has some very good insights and race tactics. But my guess is the reason no one has asked him to ride in a team car is his bitterness and negativity.

Yes, I am saying MVDP (and his father) may not want to win by joining Pogacar and wheel sucking all the way to the line precisely because he didn't like it when Colbrelli refused to pull in Paris-Roubaix. No one will ever talk about what a terrific victory that was, though it's Colbrelli's name in the history books. MVDP covered the attack, took shorter and easier pulls, and hoped he could match Pogacar on the last two climbs. He did his best. The only other option is to ride with someone behind to share the load in coming back to Pogacar. The guy behind was Remco. I think together they would have caught him, as Pogacar looked really tired and had done a ton of work.
