MTB Olympic champion Jaroslav Kulhavy announces retirement

The mountain bike champion, Jaroslav Kulhavy, has announced his retirement. Olympic medals, world titles, and European titles are some of the accomplishments of the Czech rider.

On Sunday, August 12, 2012, Kulhav claimed the Olympic title in mountain biking. However, four years later, at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he could only claim a silver medal.

On September 4, 2011, Kulhavy became the world champion in Champery, Switzerland. In addition, he won the European Cross-Country title. For the year 2011 alone, he achieved five World Cup victories. His achievements do not end there. In 2014, he won the Mountain Bike Marathon. Nevertheless, he felt that it was time to pass the torch to the next generation and let them take the lead.
