- How do you explain what stupid means to stupid people? It’s like writing instructions for people who can’t read.
And don’t tell me there aren’t stupid people, if you don’t know any personally just follow news in any country for one week, the world is FULL.
From the guy who got sucked into an MRI machine to the one who sued a train conductor for saying good morning in more than one language, it’s best to set your memory to goldfish level in order to stay calm.
- Young riders with ambitions of GC glory should not be signing long term contracts in big teams like UAE or Visma.
- Van der Poel recovery is also not good. He should revisit focusing on the TDF especially the Pogi Jans rivalry where they go hammer and tongs at each other
- Pogi has been dominant for last 5 years in everything, all terrains. Anybody wanting to goto UAE should understand that Pogi will gobble up most lucrative. Ayuso's team knew this already. Young riders should not sign long term contracts in big teams like UAE or Visma
- Too late for that now
- It wouldn’t be the first controversial contract breaking and it is often and easily suggested for others, so, yeah, why not? But then, why not Tudor, Bora or a French team? He may decide he can forego his current salary if he gets the freedom he obviously would enjoy.
- In retrospect, I’m not even sure family was the cause for “lack” of enthusiasm for team training or if family was just an easy to explain excuse for not feeling the team being totally behind the tdf win. Who can say if that altitude camp he skipped on was a must for performance anyway? Mads refuses any and does great without, nobody knows or has checked how Jonas was training whilst his team buddies were mountain bonding. Perhaps he was doing even more hours against Danish winds than they on sunny slopes, for sure he wasn’t drinking beers on the couch in front of a tv, that doesn’t get you to 2nd with a big margin on 3rd in the Tour.
- Love it lol
- I think he talked because someone asked him questions and he’s not educated or trained to answer everything thrown at him so what comes out is a mixture of feelings and thoughts he personally has. If you want to see how typical people react when frustrated, you would do well to read the article titled :
The story of the Coldplay couple unfolded like a soap opera. But was the pile-on that followed a proportionate response?
I think these days, talking is the least of our problems, it’s the reaction of people once someone has talked (or not even).
- Another person's feelings are intimate and private. Only the person (if wants) can express them. Speculating about what other person feels or doesn't feel is invasive and perhaps even embarrassing. Tadej talked too much, not to gain an athletic advantage, but because of frustration, and in life, it's important to know how to manage moments of frustration.
