Zoe Bäckstedt continues to impress with bronze in Dublin's mud: "This was really my type of race"

Zoe Bäckstedt is gradually estabilishing herself among the highest-rated ladies in the field. She confirms her level with second World Cup podium in quick succession. After Dendermonde, Bäckstedt also climbs to third place in Dublin.

"I'm a bit tired, to be honest," she laughs. "I didn't expect that, because it was raining very hard. More than during the recon. But that did play to my advantage and I liked that."

"I was a bit nervous at the start, but I gave it my all and it all worked out in the end. It was a lot of fun in the mud, this was really my type of race here. All my clothes were brown from mud, but this was perfect for me. Thank you Dublin!"
