Wout van Aert to lead Belgian cyclocross team in Dublin World Cup

Belgian Cycling has announced selections for the CX Dublin World cup. Wout van Aert will lead the men’s team.
Wout van Aert started his cyclocross season with silver. Now he gets a chance to take the gold in Dublin this weekend without worrying about Mathieu van der Poel. Eli Iserbyt has been struggling to take the podium for himself in the last few weeks, but before that, he already secured three victories in World Cup in October.
Currently, Laurens Sweeck leads the World Cup rankings ahead of Iserbyt. A name we should not overlook is Michael Vanthourenhout, who is capable of surprising if given a chance. For women, the team will depend on Kion Crabbé, Fleur Moors, Jinse Peeters, Marthe Truyen and Julie Brouwers.
