After Puck Pieterse took a thrilling victory in the women's race, Tom Pidcock would have been hoping to celebrate similarly in the men's race. Sadly for the Brit, his race has not started well.

For the INEOS Grenadiers superstar, a broken bike has signalled a disastrous start to the latest round of UCI World Cup action in Hulst. Forcing Pidcock to drop many places, almost right from the flag drop.
