Tom Pidcock solos to victory in Superprestige Boom

Tom Pidcock has won Superprestige Boom. He took the lead in the second lap and maintained it till the end to take his second victory of the season.

Kevin Kuhn started with a nice lead. Soon Tom Pidcock and Mathieu van der Poel joined Kuhn at the front. Van der Poel crashed and hurt his knee, and Pidcock crashed over him. Van der Poel continued the race despite the pain.

Pidcock was able to recover from the crash and continue his lead ahead of Eli Iserbyt, Lars van der Haar, and Michael Vanthourenhout. He enjoyed a gap of over 30 seconds in the sixth lap which came down to just 15 seconds in the final lap.

Tom Pidcock finished first and took the gold. Lars van der Haar secured the second position and Eli Iserbyt satisfied himself with bronze.
