Puck Pieterse recorded her second consecutive win in the World Cup Hulst. So far, she has already secured four victories, and her focus remains World Championships.
Having recently gained new confidence, she is considering competing in the World Championships in the elite category This comes following her triumph at the European under-23 Championships in Namur. "But it's always a matter of seeing how it goes. A lot can still happen," she told WielerFlits. Participation in a championship in the elite category means that afterwards, you are never allowed to compete in the U23s.
It is a different story when it comes to mountain biking. Her next season's competition will be in the elite category. "Next mountain biking season, I will be riding in the elite category anyway, so what I do now in the cross country doesn't matter for mountain biking," shared Pieterse. She will compete in the UCI Antwerp World Cup next, hoping to make it her fifth victory of the season.
