Jens Adams caught a glimpse of his stolen bikes: "Suddenly I received a message from an unknown Russian"

One of the elite Cyclocross riders, Jens Adams, who had his bikes stolen in February now finally received some more details about their next whereabouts.

Adams lost three bicycles of total value around €27.000 in a burglary in February. Not so long ago, he caught a glimpse of them on Russian second-hand site where they have been already sold in the meantime. "It's a very strange story. Suddenly I received a message from an unknown Russian."

The 31-years old Adams is one of the top mud warriors as documented by his results sheet, which includes 11th from this year's World Championship and a handful of top 10 results in World Cup events. Adams' best road results came in 2018 when he finished 4th in a stage of Tour de Wallonie (2.Pro) and Heistse Pijl (1.1).
