UAE Team Emirates signs another HUGE contract! Isaac Del Toro inks until 2029

It seemed like only a few months ago, despite winning the Tour de l'Avenir, Isaac Del Toro was still struggling to find a team for 2024 and specially at World Tour level. He was signed by UAE Team Emirates and after three months of racing the two have agreed on a massive contract extension all the way into 2029!

This is one of the longest contracts signed ever in pro cycling, and currently the Mexican is the only member of the peloton to already have a contract all the way into 2029. “Since coming to the team everything has been like a dream, it has been perfect. I’m very grateful for the team for showing me the trust and giving me the opportunity to be part of this special group," Del Toro said in a press release. "It feels amazing. I am learning everyday and still have I’m taking i all in and enjoying as much as possible with my feet on the ground and a lot of excitement for what is to come.”

This is the best possible news for UAE however, who have secured one of the brightest talents in the peloton for the next five seasons, not including the ongoing one where he already finished on the Top10 of the Tour Down Under, TIrreno-Adriatico and Itzulia Basque Country. "We are very pleased to announce that Isaac will continue in the UAE colours for years to come," team CEO Mauro Gianetti added.

"We knew already his capability as a rider and his level of talent and his progression has been very impressive so far and we feel he has integrated very well into the team since his arrival. He is still young and the plan will be to continue to learn and grow and a rider and as a person in a good environment. We continue to be committed to our project to develop young talent and build for the future.”
