Remco Evenepoel to be honoured by his former football team RSC Anderlecht on Thursday

Prior to starting his professional cycling career, Remco Evenepoel played football. In the past, he has played for the Belgian football club Anderlecht. Before kick-off against West Ham United, the team will pay tribute to world champion cycling Remco Evenepoel.

Remco Evenepoel is the first Belgian to win World Championships in a decade. The country has celebrated his victory, and his former football team does not want to be left out of the celebration.
